Protecting the Endangered Indian Peacock Soft-Shell Turtle
We are working with local communities in Jhapa, eastern Nepal to protect the Indian Peacock Soft-Shell Turtle, an Endangered species. Our project aims to collect crucial data on the occurrence of the species, document traditional knowledge of indigenous Santhal community about the species, and raise awareness about the conservation importance of the turtle.
