हाम्रो टोलीले पूर्वी नेपालको तराईमा पाइने दुर्लभ सफ्ट-शेल कछुवाबारे तथ्याकं संकलन गर्न 7 हप्ता लामो फिल्ड वर्क गरेर भर्खरै सकाएका छन् ।
Our dedicated Turtle Team 
has wrapped up 7 weeks of fieldwork in the lowlands of eastern Nepal, gathering crucial data on the Endangered Indian Peacock Soft-Shell Turtle.
उनीहरूले कछुवा, तिनीहरूको बासस्थान, अनि सथार, राजबंसी र माझी समुदायसँग अन्तरक्रिया गर्दै यी कछुवाहरूकाे उहाँहरूकाे समुदायमा के कस्ताे मुल्यमान्यताहरू रहेकाे छ भनेर पनि तथ्याङ्क सङ्कलन गरे।
During this time, they forged strong connections with the Sathar, Rajbansi, and Majhi communities. Together, they gathered invaluable information about the turtles, their habitats, and the rich ethnomedicinal knowledge surrounding these gentle creatures.
टोलीका नेता Limbu Asmit “केही दिनहरूले हामीलाई आनन्दले भरिदिए जब हामीले रोमाञ्चक खोजहरू पत्ता लगायौं, जबकि अरूले मैदानमा भर्खरै मारिएका कछुवाहरूको दुखद दृश्य देखेर हाम्रो हृदयमा भारी बोक्यो।”
Team leader Limbu Asmit eloquently captures their journey: “Some days filled us with joy as we unearthed exciting discoveries, while others weighed heavy on our hearts, witnessing the tragic sight of freshly killed turtle carapaces in the field.”
