NCSC at Nepal Owl Festival 2024

Nature Conservation and Study Centre participated in the Nepal Owl Festival 2024, held on February 2nd and 3rd in Lopre, Parbat, Nepal. On February 2nd, 2024, we held a camera trap training session in Dakshinkali for 20 individuals residing near the Gopaleshwor Community Forest. This training aimed to equip community members with the knowledge and skills to actively participate in biodiversity monitoring and conservation efforts.

Ecological documentary – Bats for balanced ecosystem

To spread awareness on the important role of fruit-bats as pollinators, a filmmaking crew was deployed on site to capture the pollination process of Chiuri flowers during December 2021. The documentary is now available in Nepali language with Nepali and English subtitles in our official YouTube channel.

National Pollinator Week 2022

Considering the importance of awareness campaign Bhaktapur Jaycees has conceptualize to organize a cycling program with a theme of “Pedal for Conservation”.
