On March 12, we conducted a one-day workshop on “Research Techniques and Methods for Raptors” in collaboration with Himalayan Raptors, Research Association Hattisar (RAH), Nepal Student Association of Microbiology (NSAM), and Central Campus of Technology, Dharan.
Despite the short notice, the workshop drew approximately 25 enthusiastic participants, eager to learn about the fascinating world of raptor research. Leading the session was renowned raptor biologist, Mr. Sandesh Gurung from Himalayan Raptors, who shared his extensive field experience and provided valuable insights into the methodologies used to study these majestic birds of prey.
The workshop covered a range of essential topics, including field techniques, data collection, and conservation strategies, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of raptor research.
NCSC extends its sincere gratitude to Mr. Sandesh Gurung for his engaging presentation and expertise, as well as to all partner organizations for their collaboration in making this event a success. We also thank all participants for their active involvement and commitment to raptor conservation.
