DESBS Eco-Club Celebrates Save the Frogs 2025 with NCSC Support!

We’re thrilled to share the wonderful news of a successful Save the Frogs Week celebration organized by the enthusiastic Eco-Club at Diktel English Secondary Boarding School (DESBS)! Held on May 04, 2025, the event saw active participation from 128 students from Classes 7 and 8.

The program was designed to ignite young minds about the crucial role frogs play in our ecosystems and the challenges they face. The students engaged in a series of informative and creative activities:

  • Awareness Session: Mr. Shusil Chandra Rai delivered an insightful session highlighting the ecological importance of frogs and the threats posed by habitat loss, pollution, and climate change.
  • Educational Presentation: Mr. Tek Bahadur Khatri presented the fascinating life cycle of frogs, making amphibian biology accessible and engaging for the young learners.
  • Artistic Engagement:
    • The school’s Art Teacher, Briken Rai, led a fun and creative face-painting session featuring vibrant frog-themed designs.
    • 30 students participated in a pencil coloring activity, bringing frog sketches to life while reinforcing conservation messages.

This interactive celebration successfully combined education and fun, leaving a lasting impression on the students about the significance of frogs in maintaining biodiversity and inspiring them to become young conservation champions.

NCSC extends its heartfelt congratulations to the DESBS Eco-Club for their fantastic initiative and expresses our sincere gratitude for their dedication to environmental education. We are proud to support such impactful programs and look forward to future collaborations in nurturing the next generation of conservationists!
