The two-day workshop was successfully conducted on September 25-26, 2021 and we bid farewell to our participants. Our team had a great learning experience working with the ten young and enthusiastic youths from Jagadishpur from Tharu indigenous community. We wish them all the best and hope to work together for community conservation in the near future.
The workshop was funded by Fishing Cat Conservation Alliance and Panthera, and supported by Bird Conservation Nepal and Resources Himalaya Foundation.

Nature Conservation and Study Centre is organizing a two-day workshop on Biodiversity Conservation of Jagadishpur Reservoir. The workshop will cover topics including Habitat, distribution, and conservation of fishing cats, Ecotourism and role of communities in conservation, Basic wildlife monitoring training, and Update on ongoing fishing cat projects.
