Jalapa Eco-Club Celebrates Pangolin Awareness with Students

We are excited to share another update from our Eco-Club for Chinese Pangolin Conservation project! The Jalapa Eco-Club from Shree Jalapa Secondary English School recently held a fun and educational event to teach students about pangolins on the occasion of World Pangolin Day 2025.

What Happened at the Event?

  • Coloring Activity: Students enjoyed coloring pictures of pangolins while learning about their unique features and why they are important to the environment.
  • Pangolin Video: A video about pangolin conservation was shown to teach students about the challenges pangolins face and why we need to protect them.
  • Information Boards: Five boards with information about pangolins were set up. 195 students looked at these boards to learn more about pangolins, their threats, and how we can help save them.

Why This Matters

This event helped students learn about pangolins in a fun and creative way. By combining art, videos, and information, the Jalapa Eco-Club inspired students to care about pangolins and wildlife conservation.

What’s Next?

The Jalapa Eco-Club plans to organize more events like this to keep students engaged and encourage them to take part in conservation activities.

We are proud of the Jalapa Eco-Club’s work and look forward to supporting their future efforts!
