The Nature Conservation and Study Centre (NCSC) and Himalayan Raptors (HR) are pleased to announce the formalization of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaborative biodiversity conservation and research in Nepal.
This MOU establishes a framework for joint activities focused on the conservation and sustainable management of biodiversity, with an emphasis on raptor species. Key areas of cooperation include:
Collaborative Research and Publication: Conducting studies and disseminating findings.
Joint Project Development and Funding Acquisition: Collaborating on new initiatives and securing necessary resources.
Community-Based Conservation Programs: Implementing participatory approaches and public awareness campaigns.
Capacity Building: Providing training and workshops for local communities.
This strategic alliance leverages both partner’s expertise on biodiversity and specialized knowledge in raptor ecology. Together, we’ll conduct scientific research, engage communities, mobilize resources, and advocate for policies that truly make a difference.
