Mobilizing 13 dedicated volunteers, the two-day initiative reached over 60 students and teachers across two academic institutions: the Central Campus of Technology and Sunakhari Academy. The program combined high-level scientific communication for university undergraduates with creative environmental outreach for school students.

Highlights of the Two-Day Event

• Day 1 & Day 2: Research Poster Presentation Program (Central Campus of Technology):
  • Scientific Synthesis & Design: Undergraduate students received training in research poster design and critically analyzed peer-reviewed articles on amphibian conservation and environmental threats. Teams synthesized complex data to create detailed chart-paper research posters.
  • Exhibition & Defense: At the SmartHall, students presented their posters to their peers. The session concluded with formal judging and constructive feedback to build confidence in scientific communication.
• School Awareness Program (Sunakhari Academy):
  • Interactive Presentation: Grade 9 and 10 students participated in a session covering frog ecology, their roles in maintaining healthy ecosystems, and practical steps to support amphibian survival.
  • Artistic Expression & Coloring Competition: Students engaged in a conservation-themed coloring contest depicting frogs and wetland habitats to reinforce environmental messages through visual art.
  • Face Painting: The outreach concluded with face painting featuring frog-inspired motifs, making habitat protection accessible and memorable for the students.

Impact & Moving Forward

By linking academic data analysis with youth community outreach, Save The Frogs Day 2026 successfully built local capacity in scientific communication while instilling environmental stewardship in school students.
