Save The Frogs Day 2024

Join the Nature Conservation and Study Centre (NCSC) as we celebrate Save The Frogs Day! This year, we’re hosting events in Kathmandu and Dharan to raise awareness about the importance of amphibian conservation.

Kathmandu Event:

  • Date: Saturday, April 28th, 2024
  • Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Location: Ranibari Community Forest (Information Desk)
  • Collaborator: Ranibari Community Forest User Group
  • Activities:
    • Visit our information desk and learn more about amphibians and their vital role in our ecosystem.
  • Watch educational videos highlighting the importance of amphibian conservation.

Dharan Event:

  • Date: Saturday, April 28th, 2024 (Time TBA)
  • Time: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (School Awareness Camp)
  • Location: Wetland site in Dharan (to be confirmed)
  • Collaborators: Research Association Hattisar (RAH) and Nepal Student Association of Microbiology (NSAM)
  • Activities:
    • Participate in a wetland clean-up event (open to the public – date and time to be confirmed).
    • Attend a school awareness camp focusing on amphibian conservation (April 28th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm).

This event is open to the public! We encourage everyone to come out and learn more about these fascinating creatures and how you can help protect them.
